RimstarOrg | Bottle Rocket - How it Works/How to Make @RimstarOrg | Uploaded 11 years ago | Updated 17 hours ago
Fun video on how a water bottle works, some of the science, how to make them and some experimenting. The science includes talking about Newton's third law, but also why water is used as the reaction mass instead of just air. I also mention using spin to keep the rocket straight, much as a gyroscope does. A simple bicycle pump is used to create the pressure.
