How to read music for makers/hackers to play their DIY musical instruments. Starting with what to ignore I then show what the musical notes represent and how to read them on the sheet music. I use a piano and musical instruments I've made for demonstrations. Then I show how to know how long to play the notes. I also show how I mapped the music notes to my straw trombone and how I made the paper punch card style holes for my 555 timer music players.
