PETIT ALLEGRO // Artist Henry Griffin emphasizes the important of articulating the feet (much like a cat landing from a jump!), and utilizing the plié during petit allegro with our M2 level boys. 🐈

Students in multiple levels our Boston Ballet School Summer Dance Program men's classes had the special opportunity to work with Griffin who is not only a dancer with the company but also an alum of SDP.

Take a peek at rehearsal with Choreographer Daniel Rubin and Boston Ballet II dancers Sophia Jones and Pavel Kulev. Described by Rubin as “a study on self-reflection and the fracturing of the psyche into archetypical forms,” the work draws on theater’s “smoke and mirrors” to explore fear, fragmentation, and the acceptance of the selves within.
