**Boruto Two Blue Vortex has given fans even more information about what happened during the three year timeskip, and the newest details surrounding Sumire and Sarada have created a massive debate in the Boruto community.
After Omnipotence rewrote everyone's memories, Sarada openly fought to prove Boruto's innocence while also defending Sasuke after he left Konoha with Boruto. That decision came with serious consequences. Sarada faced anger from the village, graffiti appeared on the Uchiha home, and both Sarada and Sakura were subjected to threats from people who believed their family had betrayed Konoha.
Sumire took a completely different approach.
Instead of publicly joining Sarada, Sumire remained quiet, causing some Boruto fans to accuse her of being disloyal to Boruto and a bad friend to Sarada. However, looking closer at Sumire's personality, intelligence, history, and position around Amado paints a very different picture.
Sarada and Sumire did not need to respond to Omnipotence in exactly the same way.
Sarada openly challenged the new reality while Sumire remained capable of operating without drawing suspicion. If both girls became targets of Konoha, neither could help Boruto from inside the village. Sumire also had another major reason to protect her position. She was working alongside Amado, one of the most knowledgeable and suspicious characters in Boruto.
