**Amado's relationship with Kawaki might be heading toward one of the biggest betrayals in Boruto Two Blue Vortex.
Kashin Koji's Ten Directions has given Amado information that completely changes the situation surrounding Akebi's resurrection. According to the futures Koji has witnessed, Akebi is never successfully revived because Kawaki repeatedly dies during his battle against Jura. For a man who has spent years attempting to resurrect his daughter, discovering exactly why his plan fails could force Amado to take increasingly desperate measures.
However, Kawaki dying might not be Amado's only problem.
If future events change and Akebi is eventually resurrected as an Otsutsuki, Kawaki has already made his intentions clear. That creates a scenario where the person Amado desperately needs to resurrect his daughter could eventually become the person determined to kill her.
Kawaki's Scientific Ninja Tool body makes this situation even more dangerous.
Amado performs Kawaki's maintenance, provides his technological upgrades, can remotely manipulate aspects of his power, and already implanted a shutdown command without Kawaki's knowledge. If Amado realizes Kawaki will eventually threaten Akebi, could his next contingency go beyond simply shutting Kawaki down?
This video examines the possibility that Amado could eventually use Kawaki's technological dependence against him, potentially creating a method to forcibly control his body if necessary. It also explores how Ten Directions could allow Amado to prepare for future outcomes before Kawaki realizes what is happening.
Finally, the relationship between Amado and Akebi has an interesting thematic similarity to the Japanese Shinto story of Izanagi attempting to retrieve Izanami from Yomi. Both stories raise the same disturbing question about grief, obsession, and refusing to accept death.
Amado wants his daughter back.
The real problem begins if Kawaki stands in his way.
