The twins Eden and Léandro were born severely premature. Once out of the belly of their mother, Laurence, they find themselves propelled into the hostile and worrying world of the hospital, full of the sounds of machines and of doctors in white coats. As the weeks pass in the neonatal service, mother and children fight for survival. Confined in incubators, and intubated, the twins live their first days and weeks, far from their mother and their new family. The health of the newborns is scrutinized with meticulousness and emotion by the medical staff and the mother. Every centimeter and gram taken is a victory for the child but also for the parents, who live only in the expectation and hope that their babies. Being born prematurely can lead to heavy complications for the child who has not reached full growth, risks of bleeding or respiratory problems are common in them.
