The Veruc is the Legendary Dahl Assault Rifle in Borderlands 2. It drops most commonly from Mobley out in the Dust after completing the 'The Good, The Bad, and the Mordecai quest.
Being a Dahl weapon, it has burst fire when zoomed. The burst pattern starts wide and converges in the middle, normally. This burst effect can be altered with Two Fang, and possibly other skills as well.
The Community Patch increases the damage by 10% and also decreases the ammo consumption. This weapon has always been decent, but was not great.
With the community patch, the weapon moves into the 'Very Good' tier for me. It has great potential with Bore, and it's a cool looking weapon that is fun to use.
