It’s time for the “Butcher Base” section of the Peak. It went really well, and I was able to dispatch Dukino’s Mom fairly quickly.
Because this video was pretty short, I couldn't cover everything that I had hoped to, so I want to expand on some of the tips:
First, be careful when throwing the Sabre Turret to the place I talk about in the video. If it’s close to the edge on either side, it may fall all the way to the ground-which makes it easier for Dukino’s Mom to destroy.
Also, if you aim too high above where the ledge is when you throw it, there is a chance that the turret will bounce right off of it, too. I've found that the best thing to do is to aim it so that your cursor/sight is just above and to the center of the ledge. That should make it sit perfectly.
Additionally, I want to clarify that the second ledge will be the better choice when you are going around the rock (when Dukino’s Mom is chasing you). Just throw it up there, duck out of sight and start chipping away at her health.
In case you’re wondering, yes, those are car noises you hear at various times during the video (I live right next to a busy highway). I've noticed that my voice sounds the best when I don’t use any type of noise cancellation in my Audacity program. That’s why you hear those noises, and until I find the right settings, I’m just going to leave it where it’s at now.
