This was certainly surprising. I wanted to make a video to show the best place to farm for the Bee Shield, and wouldn't you know, I get 2 to drop! A lot of people may already know the exact place to go, but if you complete a few quests beforehand, then you can get more Treants to spawn in the area, which means more chances to find that Bee.
The two specific quests are "Critical Fail" (given by Moxxi at her bar in Flamerock Refuge) and "Tree Hugger" (given by Aubrey the Teenage Treant in the Forest). Once I had completed both of these missions, I noticed that additional Treants now spawn when I run through the level. Before, I would only get 5 of them to appear (1 in the very first area, 2 in the Blacksmith's Cottage location and 2 where the Bloodfruit Grove is). I get a total of 9 Treants now, with 2 new ones appearing below Aubrey's location and 2 more popping up in the Blood Tree Camp area (you will have to kill some of the orcs first in order for them to spawn).
Having 4 more chances for the Bee to drop is a great thing! In the wise words of Tiny Tina: "Wield.Dat.Shield."
