The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) El Paso District is holding an in-person and virtual public meeting to review the technically preferred concept for a 20-mile-long extension of the Cesar Chavez Border Highway, from State Loop 375 (Americas Avenue) to FM 3380 (M.F. Aguilera Road). The Border Highway East Corridor Study evaluates the benefits and challenges of improving mobility in the study
area. TxDOT El Paso District staff have met with key stakeholders, including elected officials and agency leaders. Study goals include reducing traffic congestion and improving mobility and safety.
