Texas territory band Boots And His Buddies play a superb, swinging version of "The Goona Goo", labelled as "The Goo", with great alto sax, trumpet, tenor sax and piano solos. Good drumming by Clifford "Boots" Douglas too. The trumpet soloist quotes the 1920s song "Horses" at the start of his solo but then, when he comes back in for the second part of the solo, he quotes another song, but I can't remember what that one is called! The brass section sounds a little too far back from the microphone.
