One of the few usable features included with the PowerBook 5300c (the 'c' is for 'craptacular') were two PC card slots. Since I have a card reader laying about, as well as a 2 gig SD card, I thought I'd have a go at seeing if I could boot from it...

Since someone asked... this is running OS 8.6 with the Kaleidoscope scheme manager software - available at kaleidoscope.net There are some nice schemes archived there if you have a Classic OS Mac you want to spice up a little.

All apologies for the lousy focus and overall poor quality of this video. The version of iMovie iHave won't iMport Sony MPG files so iCan edit them...
