On May 6th 2023 a KMG manufactured booster style ride was operating normally at a fair in Nanaimo British Columbia. The ride was loaded with 4 riders into gondola 1 and the ride was started. During the ride the hydraulic restraint on seat 4 experienced an issue that caused it to raise several inches.
