he First Top Spin debuted in 1990 at Oktoberfest in Munich Germany under showman Peter Bausch under the name Top Spin 1. It was inspired by Vekoma’s Canyontrip ride which debuted three years prior in 1987. The Top Spin 1 was an instant hit and other traveling models debuted at fairs around Europe in the following years.
