Book acquisitions... new books for Book Lady... June 2019 - the result of a book buying binge at Barnes & Noble... really, I went there for the devotional, but came away with a few more books.

I loved the state parks when I lived in California (first 61 years of my life) and now love them here in Idaho where I've been for the last 6 years... so I got a book about the history of the Idaho State Parks - lots of old photos are in the book.

I'm a long-time fan of Scott O'Dell's YA writing, so I wanted to see what kind of novel would win the Scott O'Dell Award. In the video I said it won in 2017 - but that is the year it was published so it probably won in 2018.

Manga art - I've never been all that into it but when I saw the book about the manga artist's journey I wanted to learn all about how she got to where she is with manga art.
