I have my reasons ... born of a sense of desperation really, and a knowledge that my time on earth in this lifetime is brief, and there are still a lot of books I've never explored or learned about. So I'm racing with my own mortality to see how many books I can still read before my time here is up. Sounds a little morbid I guess but this video should explain my focus on numbers of books read each month.
