Here is a compilation of test footage and more that showcase the process of how each clip from Ping Pong Ball Tricks was made. I edited this periodically over the year and a half I spent making clips so I had a lot of time to make this my longest and most intricate bonus footage video yet.

Clear Tube Carousel:
Inspiration: spontaneous idea I wrote in my engineering notes. Quadruple catapult was added to give it an interesting way of transferring the balls into the tube/callback to Billiard Ball Tricks
Gliding Gears:
Inspiration: an idea I’ve had for years and even attempted in 50CRT (which became the double-use flexing track trick). I explained this concept to Lyle at Domino World 2019 and it also inspired his vertical double-use flexing track trick for his event machine. Seeing planetary gears used in DvMs 9 I realized that I could use them to make this trick possible.
Cascading Chain:
Inspiration: mainly how most ball chains will fall on tracks between the ball modules, and having those tracks lead to another chain
Centrifugal Force Carousel:
Inspiration: Zane’s centerpiece Reactica 2021 trick. I wanted to showcase a trick that used centrifugal force to hold objects in place rather than transfer them somewhere.
Tetherball Twister:
Inspiration: old idea that was buried in the depths of my brain that I fished out to replace a clip I’ve moved to Machine Multiverse 2024. A fusion of two of my favorite concepts: the unraveling billiard balls from Billiard Ball Tricks and the five-ball gear trick from my 13BC machine
Bubble Bath:
Inspiration: had “underwater ping pong ball chain” buried in my idea list for this project which I'd planned as part of the finale, mostly as nothing more than a callback to the similar underwater trick from Billiard Ball Tricks. When I saw this a few months later I thought of the idea of having an underwater ball chain transform into a surface ball chain and realized that could be a really cool screenlink clip.

Inspiration: thought of this while watching Centrifugal Force Tricks by Zane and Lyle (where I was surprised to learn that Zane had also attempted a very similar idea for that video)

Dual Moving Filters: based on my ball-filtering track idea from DW19
Launcher Carousel: wanted a way to include ball launchers in the video and thought of this
Spinning Top: had absolutely no intent of doing this in my plan until I thought of doing a “Saturn Rings” idea in church and built this that very afternoon
Bouncing 8-Ball: idea part of my original plan that fit the space left in the table
Fishing Sign: substitute to water pouring idea (I like this one better anyway)

This music was a big part of inspiration for making this bonus footage. This is music remixed using a Super Mario World/SNES soundfont and over the last six months I've gotten into learning how to compose these songs myself. Each song was specifically chosen to embody the personality of each trick and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
