I shall add a further description later, but this is my ultimate Steinmanic tribute to Bonnie. I had this idea in the works long before her passing, although I never got around to doing it. In my opinion what is presented here represents some of the greatest recorded music in history. I have specifically included 'If You Were A Woman' to highlight Steinman's production and probably one of the best vocal performances by the dynamic duo of Eric Troyer and Rory Dodd (also Todd Rundgren).
Fun fact: 'If You Were A Woman' had morphed into 'You Give Love A Bad Name' by the time of its release, both songs were written by Desmond Child and YGLABN then came out only a few months after IYWAW...
Music and lyrics to tracks 1, 4-5, 8-14, lyrics to tracks 6 and 15, lyrical adaptations to track 2, vocal overdub in tracks 2 and 7 by Jim Steinman.
All tracks produced by Jim Steinman.
Tracks 7 and 10 remixed by Jim Steinman.
This compilation is dedicated to Bonnie Tyler, 1951-2026.

![Meat Loaf & Patti Russo - Id Do Anything For Love (Live in Manchester, 1993)
Here is another one - live at the G-MEX Centre on December 10th 1993 during probably one of the most extensive tours he ever done. Its a very good version with an interesting introduction, the violin introduction was played until 1994 but the Neverland Express intro was gone after the British Tour. Enjoy!

Brought to you by https://mlbfcollection.blogspot.com/
Incomplete recording of Jim Steinmans appearance on the Old Grey Whistle Test from June 16th 1981. These two clips come from the 2015 BBC In And Out Of Hell documentary as well as a post from April 2021 by the BBC at the time of Steinmans death. The full appearance ran about 8 minutes or so, with a 3 minute performance of Love And Death And An American Guitar and a 5 minute interview. Sadly, this is all we currently have although even this 2 and a half minutes is great to see for Steinmaniacs everywhere.

![Meat Loaf - Live on Saturday Night Live, 1978 (Audio, Upgrade)
Brought to you by https://mlbfcollection.blogspot.com/
Hello there. This is actually a remake of a video from July 2020, I can no longer find the images I used there so have used the thumbnail as the image here, but this is the famous SNL performance from March 25th 1978 that is said to have broke Bat in the USA. This audio comes from a higher quality Japanese source, and is slightly better than my original version, being less distorted, and since Im a sucker for upgrades I figured Id put it on here, again to fill the void in Meat Loaf content for the time being, as always tho, plenty more to come!

![Meat Loaf - Concert Opening (Live in Plymouth, 2003)
Using two sources Ive attempted to restore the unique opening of the July 2003 Plymouth concert. This opening contained the only live performance of Lost Boys And Golden Girls after its 1993 appearance on the Bat Out Of Hell 2 album. Its also unique for being one of the few shows on this tour to say god damnit daddy during Wasted Youth, most shows had a tape saying just damnit daddy. The quality for source A, the first source for the first 2 minutes is a D, but source B is a B+.

This is what I did with Braver Than We Are 5 years ago (time flies), just taking all of the tracks from the bonus CDs of the various releases of this album, as well as the B-sides from the singles and the one digital download, which I think is a fantastic song (and much better than the 2016 version), Prize Fight Lover.
I am not a fan of the mixes on either of the live albums here, the 2008 mix is far too compressed and the vocal mix is at times grating, it is a fairly strong collection of performances for the era, see my Paradise 2008 audio I put up on here for comparison in terms of quality. The 2010 album is better but I feel could be better balanced, very strong performances and in particular I enjoy Living On The Outside.
As for the other single tracks, I think Boneyard and Dont should have been on the album. Enjoy!

![Meat Loaf - Only When I Feel (Live in Mainz, 2005)
From June 25th 2005, Meat Loaf and The Neverland Express performing the song that was an expansion of his song If It Aint Broke, Break It! which appeared in the 2003 MTV adaptation of Wuthering Heights. In 2006, when Meat Loaf was recording Bat 3 the song was again split back in twain and If It Aint Broke, Break It! was recorded without the c.2003 written Only When I Feel section, which was eventually recorded by Meat Loaf for the 2016 Braver Than We Are album. It was only performed in this form by The Dream Engine in 2005 and 2006, and on this tour, the Hair Of The Dog Tour in 2005.
