Released in March 1987, and produced by the late great Chris Tsangarides, Bound To Break is among my personal favourite Anthem albums and is often recognised as one of their best, being acclaimed critically in both Japan and the USA. Anthem would tour the USA once and only once during the promotion for this album. This album would tie in with the 1987 Devilman OVA (personally I prefer the recent Crybaby adaptation) with the song "Show Must Go On!" being used in its soundtrack along with earlier Anthem songs. "Show Must Go On!" was also the first fully English song on a studio album by Anthem.
