Bongo babies boopin' by 🥁
Meet Barnaby and Fig, two of the newest additions to the bongo herd at the Safari Park. Barnaby was raised with a bit of extra support from our incredible wildlife care specialists, and as he's settled into life on the savanna, Fig has been helping him learn the ins-and-outs of hanging with the herd. These fearless little ones have become very fast friends and close companions, often spotted playing and exploring together.
Eastern bongos are classified as critically endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, with less than 100 remaining in their native habitats in central Kenya. Guests may spot this big-eared duo by riding the Africa Tram at the Park.
