Blowing Up Right Now was inspired by the Hawaiian Missile Crisis. We played with the premise, what if someone was going through a break-up when they got the bomb alert on their phone? That's what's happening here. This was one of my favorite scenes to shoot in the movie.
I think the actors, Sujata Day and Danny Jolles, did a nice job. I directed this film, and it was written by Chris Lee Hill. Brooks Ludwick was the cinematographer.
Blowing Up Right Now is a fun Romantic Comedy. If you are looking for a romantic comedy to watch, maybe this movie is for you.
