Hello everyone and welcome back to the channel and a video about winter Germans for Bolt Action. I have highlighted that I am currently repainting my Stalingrad Germans as I was not too happy with the original paint scheme or basing that I used. But even during the repaint, there was still something that I wasn’t too happy about and after looking through quite a few reference photographs, it dawned on me what it was – dustiness.

With fighting taking place in the ruined urban sprawl of Stalingrad, there would be lots of dust from broken masonry and debris. My troops looked far too clean so I have been experimenting with weathering pigments to see if I can achieve the duty look that I am seeking. In the video I will show you the progress that I have made so far and I have also included a short pictorial/video painting guide to outline exactly how I went about painting my winter Stalingrad Germans.
