The Defence Science and Technology Group (DSTG) is shaping some of Australia’s most advanced Air Force capabilities, from the Joint Strike Fighter to Ghost Bat, delivering a decisive advantage to the ADF.

Through strong partnerships across industry, academia, research agencies, and international collaborators, DSTG is accelerating the technologies that matter most.
At the upcoming Australian Defence Science, Technology and Research (ADSTAR) Summit, large-scale collaboration will be on display, alongside new opportunities to innovate with Defence. The summit will be held in Adelaide from 4 to 6 August 2026.
