ABOUT THE WORK

This legendary rock song by Queen scarcely needs an introduction. One of the most well known pieces of music of the 20th century, its original form with rich 4-part choral harmonies, striking lyrics, soaring guitar solos, and a substantial 6+ minute length broke many norms of the genre and created a memorable and musically deep experience. Here at dpops, we hope to bring some of the power and flair of Bohemian Rhapsody to you in an orchestral form. Listen for the familiar tunes being passed around throughout the orchestra, and be reminded that a full symphony orchestra can absolutely match the raw sonic power of a rock concert.
