In this video, I talk about how to deal with lagging body parts. For most of us using calisthenics as a training modality with health, fitness, and aesthetics in mind, we don't care for the size or proportions pursued by bodybuilders. However, in our aesthetic journey, we may find some muscles not developing the way we would like. Why this happens can be complicated... it could be how you are doing your exercises, it could be how responsive your body is to the exercise, it could be the shape of your muscle bellies, or a number of other factors. If this is the case, try changing exercise variables to see if you can connect to and target the lagging muscle to a greater degree. Pick variations that seem to preferentially stimulate the area. Also, consider throwing in some accessory movements to directly target what you want to bring up.
