Delighted to introduce you to the new edition to my ever expanding family of bodhráns!
This drum from Seanie McGrath has been a wonderful addition, and I’m loving getting to grips with the sound which is very different to what I usually play on. Its a deer skin, which is a first for me, and as a result has loads of hearty front sound and attack. That being said, there is no shortage of bass, or high tones from the back of the drum, and I suspect that it will only get better with age.
