Nearly 30 years after hitting the rails, BNSF Railways Iconic H1, or Heritage One, is still roaming the rails! Once the corporate image, and pride of the fleet, this striking paint scheme it is ever increasingly difficult to see. From time to time, these locomotives do still lead out on the mainline!
We'll see a number of BNSF trains racing down the mainline with Heritage One C44s leading the way. Starting off in Feb of 2026, with an impressive duo at Northtown. After this, we'll chase and see a number high speed stack trains, and freights, in these memorable colors. With these locomotives slowly being pulled out of service, get them while you can. Tough to think they're almost 30 years old now!!
