BMW’s latest Rear Collision Avoidance and Mitigation technology uses radar sensors, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, and automatic braking to help prevent impacts while reversing and parking. The system can even monitor approaching cross traffic and automatically intervene when it detects an immediate collision risk.
