Since so many of you seem to have thought my previous bluefish video featured tuna (not blues), I put together this comparison. The two are very different especially from an drone persepctive.
Major differences between a bluefin tuna and bluefish from a drone perspective (all size approximations are for these clips only):
1 .Size: Bluefish 25-30”, Bluefin Tuna 6-8ft, Menhaden 8-12”, Shark 5-7ft
2. Fins: Bluefish have distinctive black spots on their pectoral fins, bluefin tuna have very distinctive yellow finlets on their backs
3. Bluefish have streamlined narrow bodies and bluefin tuna have wide midsections (they look torpedo like)
4. Bluefish have much larger mouths than bluefin tuna in comparison to their bodies
