Written by Vincent Rose, and first published in 1940, the most well known recording of 'Blueberry Hill' must surely be the version released by Fats Domino in 1956. With his laid back, warm/friendly style, no one could really give it the smooth 'rock n roll' treatment like him. This song has a surprisingly complicated chord structure and bass note sequence, different from the typical I-IV-V songs of the time - probably due to the author's extensive musical training and orchestra/bandleader experience. I might do a tutorial on this song, if this video receives enough interest (good or bad!).
