Through the lens of a pilot study funded by philanthropists, the Blue Talk will look at how philanthropy and the ocean are connected. When governments are too slow to act and not risk-tolerant enough to support innovative ideas to combat climate change, the funding needs to come from other parties – the philanthropists.
