I love wind toys. I've designed quite a few wind spinners. I live near a nature preserve that hosts many different birds. We often see big Blue Herons silently standing in the marsh. They suddenly bob their head down and grab a fish. I thought I'd try to make a wind toy that bobs up and down.
The Prusa XL with 5 heads is great for easily printing these multi-color projects. Less issues / filament than with my Prusa MK3S MM2.
I usually mount the wind toys on fences with a 6mm carbon rod. On this project I also made a rod holder for the 8mm fiberglass driveway markers. These can be inserted into your lawn.
