After a huge amount of rerouting thanks to the realization that someone getting Double-Cast was actually viable, and eventually 3 party members reaching it, I managed to pull off another PB/WR exactly like the last one. I wanted to practice and derust and somehow ended up going all the way to sub 6 and then some, and with a very sub-par Disc 1 at that. The new Triple Double-Cast route is without a doubt faster and much safer than the older routes, and my final goal will now at the very least be getting sub 5:50, maybe even sub 5:40 or close to it.
As an aside, I think some frame drops happened in this recording due to the encoder overloading, but it's not that noticable.
Noteworthy time loss in Disc 1:
- Second try Dinoram due to me not paying attention...
- Winking Patroller was slow due to very unlucky turn order
- A very slow flee in the Undersea Caverns
- Fast second try King Ghost but horrible gold drop, loads of safety pickups
- Compost Poo Snake shenanigans during Lazy Bear skips
- Second try Heat-Wave Sai
Noteworthy time loss in Disc 2:
- Sub-par (17 attempts) Black Belt grind, considering we only need 3 now
- Having to fight a Kelolon separately and forgetting a menu again
- Kinda slow Jumbo Mecha Robo
Noteworthy time loss in Disc 3:
- Sloppy Mechat navigation
- Sloppy Mechat shooting segment
- Route flaw causing me to be a single medal short for final Toripo, Zola didn't get Double-Cast when intended and it slowed down the start of Primitive Cube a bit
