Blockade is the first of what would later become known as light cycle games. It's a game for two players only, each who controls an arrow that leaves behind a trail of blocks that form a wall. The arrow moves automatically forward and by using four buttons the player is able to steer it by making ninety degree turns. The aim of the game is simply to stay alive longer than the opponent by not crashing into any of the walls. If a crash occurs the opponent will win the round and be awarded with one point. By default the player that first reaches six points wins the game but the value can be changed by the game operator.

Soccer is Taitos third-ever video game release and the first developed internally. The game was designed by Tomohiro Nishikado. Soccer is a ball-and-paddle game like Pong, but with a green background to simulate a playfield, allowing each player to control both a forward and a goalkeeper. The player can adjust the size of the soccer players, which are represented as paddles on screen. It also has a goal on each side. It was exported to Europe in 1973. The first Japanese video game to be released on the European continent.

In Clean Sweep, players control a paddle at the bottom of the screen and hit a ball into a field of dots. The field of dots is arranged as a 14x14 grid and each time the ball hits a dot it disappears and the player earns points for their score. The ball will keep going in the direction of its shot until it ricochets off the sides or top of the screen and returns back to the bottom of the screen where the player either hits it back up into the field of dots or misses the falling ball and loses a ball. Players are given a total of three or five balls depending on the setting. The goal of the game is to clear all of the dots and get a clean sweep.

Goal IV is an early arcade soccer/football game where players control paddles to hit a ball and score goals. It was part of Ataris early sports game lineup during the companys formative years in arcade gaming.
