ELIZA is an early natural language processing computer program developed from 1964 to 1967 at MIT by Joseph Weizenbaum.
Created to explore communication between humans and machines, ELIZA simulated conversation by using a pattern matching and substitution methodology that gave users an illusion of understanding on the part of the program
Different “scripts” could be plugged into ELIZA to represent different characters. The first of these to be developed by Weizenbaum, as well as the one that generated the transcript above and the one that everyone remembers today, was called simply “Doctor.”

Goal IV is an early arcade soccer/football game where players control paddles to hit a ball and score goals. It was part of Ataris early sports game lineup during the companys formative years in arcade gaming.
1, 2, or 4 players can experience the thrills of split-second soccer-style action. The defensive and forward players for each team are controlled by 4 out-of-the-way, side-mounted knobs, 2 for each team.

In Jet Fighter, two planes fly around with the goal of shooting the other as many times as possible in a dogfight within the time limit. When a plane is hit, an explosion occurs, and the plane recovers after a few seconds.
