Have you ever been browsing YouTube and all of a sudden there's a video spoiling something about a movie, show, or game you like staring you right in the face? I have, and it is very frustrating to say the least. This has become an extremely common occurrence in the World of Warcraft space, with nearly nothing slipping through the clutches of click-hungry YouTubers and news websites. I think Blizzard needs to do something about this, specifically with PTR and data-mining being the most common sources of these spoilers. But how could they change it? Join me for a bit of a rant today on the mostly harmful impact that unrestricted PTR and data-mining have had on the game and community.
