Returning to Eversong Woods in World of Warcraft Midnight felt personal. This was my first zone as a Blood Elf, so I wanted to see if Blizzard could capture that same magic again. For most of this playthrough, they actually did. Eversong Woods might be one of the strongest intro zones WoW has had in years. The pacing, storytelling, and how it builds into the rest of Midnight all work really well.

Then there’s the ending.

The final cutscene where Turalyon attacks an unarmed Zul’jan, and Arator steps in, has been pretty divisive. Some players think it completely breaks his character. I don’t fully agree, but it definitely raises questions.
