Modern lorries have good visibility around, arguably better than some box vans due to the 6 mirrors installed on the lorry.
First two photos to show that the side mirrors are doing their jobs up to the level at the window of cabin.
The Front mirror expands the entire front of the cabin including the front corners on the right and left.
The passenger mirror cover the area directly to the left of the cabin. A properly adjusted mirror should cover at least the width of a normal traffic lane in cities and should cover at least more than half of the lane on motorways. So a lorry driver should spot a cyclist in another lane and any cars in another lane. Motorcycle, arguably may not be picked up on the passenger mirror on motorways if ridden far away from the lorry, but the lorry driver should be able to see the helmet through the passenger window directly.
These mirrors offer great visibility all around the cabin, and the lorry driver should look at the appropriate mirrors at different times.For example, Turning left, the lorry driver should always keep an eye on the front and passenger mirrors for anyone near the cabin. The driver should also look at the wide angle mirror to see if there's anyone around the side of the trailer.
