"Blessed by the Void" from MAP28 of Eviternity II, by Kevin "Velvetic" Martins and Joshua "Dragonfly" O'Sullivan.
I'll be honest with you, I feel like I (Dragonfly) shouldn't be credited on this piece of music - during development Velvetic dropped a very early work-in-progress version of this MIDI for myself and the other devs to check out.
I decided to crack it open in Sekaiju and add a section (first heard at 1:03) based on how in my mind I heard the song progressing. To my surprise Velvetic took the idea and ran with it, making it a continued motif throughout the track.
The map that this MIDI accompanies is also a Velvetic creation. In my opinion this map does a lot of work to help the final episode have some ebb and flow - with it's punchy gameplay and soaring scenery I feel it's a very memorable map despite being the shortest in the episode, making it a very welcome breather map!
