Continuing on the underground mines map, as before I provided commentary this time. Most of my effort this stream was in creating a new building built into the caverns which will provide the player with access to an escalated portion of the map.

Yet another pvp / deathmatch session with the gang, but with the addition of Dew and Razgriz! As always, this session is rife with profanities and hilarious moments.
This time we play on the latest version of NeonDM (RC2) and the changes are brilliant! Project Darklite (one of Decays maps) has had the final detail pass too, which looks incredible. :)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
So I decided to not do a mapping stream, and instead check out the latest Doom releases! Starting off with Batandys The Crimson Deed; this short but sweet demo is absolutely beautiful, blending modern tech with retro aesthetics to create a wonderfully stylistic world. Im excited to see where this goes!
Next up is the long-awaited Total Chaos by Wadaholic. Total Chaos showcases a LOT of potential. Visually its stunning, very current-gen for the most part! However the gameplay is regrettably unpleasant. Im usually quite a patient player (as showcased when I played solace Dreams to completion!) but this takes the biscuit. Youre absolutely strapped for resources, forced to avoid the (unintelligent doom AI) zombies in tight spaces, made to use weapons that break mid fight, and have to do inventory management while fighting when that happens using an inventory system that overall feels quite clunky and not fit for on-the-fly usage.
With more care in the gameplay department, Total Chaos could make for an absolutely wonderful mod.
