Today again a Blender video, for all who are looking to get into Blender 2.8 and want to create models for 3D printing.
One of Blenders original design goals was to provide extreme speed for the designers. This was accomplished by providing a large number of shortcuts to the designer, which mostly used keystrokes to control the software during the modelling. So in the past you had to learn a number of these keystrokes to properly use Blender. This and other sometimes unusual user interface behavior, made learning Blender very challenging.
But that seems to be changing a lot with Blender 2.8. The major changes in v2.8 are a completely updated viewport, through which the 3D model is viewed with easy to use 3D navigation controls.
