In this Blender 2.7 Tutorial #75 I cover:
- How to create a fire (with smoke) simulation in Blender.
- How to use flow and domain objects.
- How to create materials for fire and smoke using Nodes with the Cycles render engine, including accessing your simulation's attributes including density, flame, and color. You can easily change the color of the first and smoke. *Quick Smoke* isn't used here, I show you how to set up the entire simulation with materials manually.
- How to customize fire simulation settings, including: making the fire flicker and spike in random spots using a cloud texture on the flow object.
- Also, how to make the flame short or tall, improve smoke and fire resolution and noise.
