I'm really happy with this drum mix. I did some subtle EQ and a good bit of multiband compression. I feel like the multiband comp made the kick and snare nice and punchy (I like a lot of low mid in my snares). I also put an expander and enveloper on the snare after multiband to make up for any squashing that happened to the transients.

I also did some good multiband comp on the master. I think it tightens up to low end really well. I've been obsessed with multiband comp lately, as you can tell.

I went a little wild with the video this time. I started shooting in 60 fps recently and I decided to do more split screens and flashy editing on this one. I hope it looks good, idk.

I started watching Bleach recently and I was super stoked on the second opening when I heard it. I love the song, the basslines, and how prominent the bass is in the mix. It's a great song and I knew I wanted to cover it. I still feel kinda weird about playing the vocal melodies on guitar tho, but it's just not the same without them.
