I just picked this game up because I had 73 cents left in my Steam wallet, and it was on sale for 55 cents. Blake Stone is blatantly Wolfenstein 3D, but that's a good thing if you're a Wolf 3D fan. I wasn't a PC gamer growing up, so I have no nostalgic attachment to Dos games, however, if you can get into pre-Doom fps games, this is a solid FPS game to pick up for cheap.
I am playing with the Xbox controller which feels pretty good to use. I'm not used to pre-mouse FPS game controls, so using a joystick feels better to me. If you're a DOS gaming fan, or a Wolf 3D fan who has somehow overlooked this game, it's worth playing, and it's cheap.
NOTE: There seems to be a bit of a sound glitch when firing the weapon. I'm not sure if that's a common issue with the original Dos version of the game, or if it's something to do with my PC running Dosbox.
