No math, no explanations - just a physical, scale mock-up of the famous Blackpool Tower image.
foreground object: green paper
1 cm tall, 1 m from camera
background object: red paper
4.6 cm tall, 4 m from camera
This observation matches the mathematical prediction.
Check out the observation made by Rachie 00000 with very similar numbers:

For some reason, her results are very different from mine.
That is cause to investigate further.
Could it be cause purely by poorly focused photos?
Could this have something to do with being close to the floor?
Did somebody just make a mistake with the measurements? (I caught a 1mm mistake with my background object, but that isn't enough to explain this. Is there something else I've missed?)
Grab your P-900 and some construction paper.
Let's get out there and science this!
