All cameras work well in bright light but how well do they work in dim light? Well the Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera 4K G2 (BMMCC 4K G2) (and the older BMMCC Full HD with a super 16 sensor camera) are def wonders when it comes to low light. Often for wildlife filming and or scientific filming one can not simply pour mega watts of light upon a subject and or you need to film nocturnal creatures NOT in IR. Here in Part one I will show you how we prepare a simple set up and later in parts 2 and 3 will show you a more "refined" rig which won't cost the earth but brings to you a cinema camera with 13 stops of dynamic range in 4K with a basic output of BRAW files for easy manipulation in post.
