The Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS USM is a remarkable lens and I had the chance to use it with my Blackmagic Cinema Camera. I had the 70-200mm for about a day and had about an hour to use it before I had to shoot a gig. I didn't have an ND filter or matte boxes for my camera so to achieve the f/2.8 I bumped my shutter angle (shutter speed) very high. About 45 degrees or higher! The optics on the lens is amazing, especially when filming in RAW, you can see all of the fine details in the subject.
Using the lens is amazing on this camera and Canon makes a very strong EF mount so the three pound glass had no problem connecting with the camera with no rails. If you are interested, purchase the camera here!
