Having lingered in the north sea for a number of years, mostly on the German island of Sylt, with occasional sightings in the UK, the adult Black-browed Albatross eventually found RSPB Bempton Cliffs. Following brief sightings in previous years, the bird returning in summer 2021 and started to regularly visit the Gannet colony on the reserve, giving birders the best opportunity to see this species ever in the UK.
