A White Stork spent a few days loitering around a local landfill in summer 2016. The bird could be quite difficult to observe, but occasionally gave views on top of the mounds of earth among circling gulls and corvids.
Unringed, this bird was probably one of few genuinely wild birds to grace the county and so was a pleasure to see!
