Exploring Abandoned Mines and Unusual Places | Black Widow Spiders and No Footprints in this Abandoned Mine! @AbandonedMines11 | Uploaded November 2020 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Until my belly-crawl through the 12-inch tall portal of this abandoned mine, nobody had been inside of it for probably a century! Unfortunately, Black Widow spiders had taken up residence just inside the entrance and were quite the welcoming party. Once past the spiders, the mine opened up into a tunnel running off to the left and right.
I found this small silver mine while doing some exploring in the forests of Nevada. I have no idea what the name of the mine is nor how much silver ore it produced. This is one of those obscure, remote, small mines that has slipped under the radar and has been lost to time. There were absolutely NO footprints inside the mine nor any modern trash or graffiti which led me to believe that I was the first explorer inside this mine in decades, if not longer.
Come along with me and let's check out this abandoned silver mine together! Trust me — the spiders weren’t that bad.
